From the recording Jerry Gibson
A poem my mom wrote before she passed.
Lyrics
I will walk again, in the woods, someday;
Beneath the summer sky,
I will walk again, by a little creek,
And hear the pine trees sigh.
I will walk again, in the summer rain
And enjoy the feel on my skin;
I will walk in the valley and climb the mountain,
Back to where I have been.
I will go to the places, I’ve always loved
With those that I’ve held dear,
I will walk again, as I’ve done before,
But I will not do it here.
